Vivint Security Cameras - Following are 5 basic outdoor lighting scenarios, if used properly will lead to nice pictures.

1) Top-lighting.

This sort of light is found mid-day around high noon. The overhead sun causes deep shadows underneath the eyes (raccoon eyes) or harsh lighting on landscapes. It is best to avoid photographing at now of the day, unless you use a fill flashing to fill within the shadows.

a pair of) Side-lighting

The sun is above horizon level but not however straight above, so the light causes illumination on one side of the subject. This sort of light will cause a dramatic look unless a reflector or fill flash is employed to fill within the shadow side.

3) Front-lighting

Just because it sounds, the subject has daylight in their face. This will cause a heat, golden look but most people squint with sun in their eyes. Best to avoid it. If you need to, count to three and have subject examine the camera on the count of 3.

four) Back-lighting

Place the subject with the sun to their back in the first morning or late afternoon hours. You will immediately notice a lovely lighting on the themes hair. Because the subject's face is in the shadow you may want to balance the photo with fill flash. (you may want a lens hood because of lens flare)

5) Shade

You'll perpetually play it safe within the shade. When the light on the subject matches the light within the background you are assured a well exposed and lit photograph.

The best time of the day for people or landscape photography is always within the morning before 10AM and within the afternoon after four-5PM (depends on the season). I have found 15 minutes before sunset to be the sweetest light-weight.

By selecting the correct lighting and time of day you can remodel a simple subject into a desirable show of nature or a beautiful portrait of your family!Vivint Security Cameras.
